A lot of work goes into modeling and getting these aircraft right I know, I've tried and failed. So stop knocking the author. Just don't bother doing IFR flights with it, but otherwise, it's not a very bad plane, almost in the middle, so I give it a 6. To get the afterburner, fly and ultralight anywhere, doesn't matter and shut off and turn the engine back on when u are in the air.

Then when FSX loads and begins to load the plane, it will let you know that the gauges are not "trusted" etc. After all this, the Concorde flies not so bad, rather quick, complete with working gauges! Also, don't try to land too slowly, seems to want to land at a fairly good clip.

As far as trying to start the plane, open panel Shift-5 and make sure battery power is on, Fuel is set to auto, all four generators on, then click all four engine start buttons in sequence, Concorde fires up no problem.
